🔔 Last week's Reddit convo made it clear: we are not sure what to do on Reddit. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Thankfully, the Reddit head of EMEA comms Alana Saltzman shared this resource for brands to get started. Her words: You wouldn't show up to a party and just start shouting about yourself... so maybe don't do that on Reddit? (Plus it was good to see startup comms pro Lindsay Amos post her Substack in a YC subreddit and not get immediately shamed).
🤯 AI Knowledge Bombs: The Groq (not Grok) CEO dropped so much net-new information in this 20VC podcast. You'll want to listen to the whole thing, but my favorite parts: his prediction AI will cause a labor shortage (not job loss), how learning to code will be the modern-day equivalent of learning to read/write back in the day, and his approach to AI: "We don't tell our engineers which AI to use, but they must use AI."
🛳 Virgin Voyages built 50 agents: They're automating time-consuming marketing tasks like landing pages and email customization. Comms pros: we're next. So it's time to get comfortable with building and running agents.
